On March 04-06, 2024, National Security Module for 89 officers of the 77th batch of Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) was inaugurated at Central Detective Training Institute (BPR&D), Jaipur. The chief guest of the inaugural session was Mr. M.L.Kumawat, I.P.S. (Retd.), former Director General, Border Security Force and the special guest was Shri Sudhanshu Shekhar Jha, Principal Director of Income Tax (Investigation).Thereafter Shri Neeraj Sinha, I.P.S. (Retd.), Former Joint Director, I.B. and Additional Director General, BPRD and Shri Anuj Kumar Mathur, Major General (Retd.) and Gajendra Singh, IRS, Addl CIT presented a brief analysis of the financial implications of national security and India's place in the global scheme of things. Prof. ShantanuChoudhary Director, IIT, Jodhpur was the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony on March 06, 2024. On this occasion, Dr. Debasis Das, Assistant Professor, I..T. Jodhpur highlighted "The Emerging Technology and National Security - a Boon or a Curse".The Special Guest of the closing ceremony Shri S. Sengathir, IPS, ADG (Hqrs), Rajasthan Police, Jaipur highlighted the Web 3.0 technology. At the end of the closing ceremony, Shri Sai Sandeep Kumar, DC, National Academy of Direct Taxes, Nagpur, expressed thanks to Dr Amandeep Singh Kapoor IPS, DIG, Director of CDTl, Jaipur, Director of IIT Jodhpur and all the participants.
