3rd National Conference Of Chiefs/Head Of Investigating Agencies in CDTI, Jaipur on 5-6 JAN 2023
The 3rd National Conference of Heads of Investigating Agencies was inaugurated on 5th and 6th January 2023 at CDTI, Jaipur. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai was the Chief guest of the Inaugral Ceremony. He said that investigation and prosecution are the pillars of the rule of law. Mr. Rai said that state-of-the-art technology and mutual coordination are very important to empower the police. He said that the police also looks after the peace and harmony of the country. In such a situation, it is the need of the hour to strengthen the police intellectually, physically and organizationally and to convert it into a smart force. He said that the Government of India is constantly making efforts to modernize the police. The government has approved the continuation of the umbrella scheme of more than 26 thousand crores from the year 2021 to 2026 for the modernization of police forces, he said that the active contribution of police in our daily life makes our life comfortable.The work done by the police during Covid has created a positive image among the people. Shri Rai said that it is necessary to prepare the police to deal with chemical and biological disaster. The DG, BPR&D, Shri Balaji Srivastava welcomed the chief guest. During his address, he mentioned the importance of technology and police cooperation in maintaining law and order. He appreciated the steps taken by the Government of India in the field of resource building and progress in investigation and police protocols. The Valedictory session was chaired by Mr. Kalraj Mishra, Honorable Governor, Rajasthan, in which the participant present were made to read the Preamble of the Constitution and recited the fundamental duties.Additional Director General of Bureau of Police Research and Development Mr. Neeraj Sinha and Director of Central Detective Training Institute, Jaipur Dr. Amandeep Kapoor along with senior officers of of investigative agencies were present in the conference.
